Great Wall Adventure Club is the only business authorized by the Great Wall Administration Office to use outdoor camping to global visitors. Some "tour agents" claim that they can do so, but they mean they'll take you to camp somewhere away from the Wall. We don't like that idea. We offer you a geniune camping experienceto "defend" the capital as ancient warriors did in the history.

In-depth Itinerary
Day 1: Hike the Magnificent Jinshanling and West Simatai Great Wall
Hotel pickup is included within the Second Ring Road. Otherwise, meet the Jinshanling group and guide at Chaoyangmen Station at 7:20 a.m., using a taxi or the subway; the described subway fare is about CNY 2–6. Typical groups are 20–25 travelers in summer and 10–15 in quieter seasons. After the hike, the other participants return to Beijing while your privately arranged camping program continues.
The Great Wall at Jinshanling is one of the best-preserved components of the Great Wall with numerous initial attributes. The Jinshanling Great Wall was originally constructed from 1368 to 1389 in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), and in 1567 and 1570 restoring of the Wall was generally routed by General Qi Jiguang (1528-1588). Rhymes, and tablet works, can be located on the Jinshanling Great Wall left from the time when Qi Jiguang routed the restoring of this area of the Great Wall.
At lunchtime in Jinshanling, our camping support team will meet you at the restaurant and transfer you to Gubeikou. After time to relax and enjoy the sunset, have a countryside dinner at our family-run camping base. We will then walk with you to the Great Wall and help set up your tent for the night.
Day 2: Watching the Beautiful Sunrise
There's nothing more that I want
Then to touch you
To seek truth
In your eyes
The only thing that I want
Is to be with you
And watch the sunrise
Wake at about 5 a.m. in summer or 6:30 a.m. in winter to watch sunrise over the Great Wall. Take time for photographs and video before continuing your morning.
After an English-style breakfast, our local support team will transfer you to Gubei Water Town’s bus terminal. Take the express bus to Dongzhimen in Beijing, where you can connect with Subway Line 2 or the Airport Express for your onward journey.
1S3: Sunset on the Jinshanling–West Simatai Ridges
Thanks so much for a really great trip to China. All of your arrangements worked like clock work. I appreciate the use of the phone and especially the fact that you stayed in close contact with me.
My travels around the world have affirmed for me that people are basically good and caring. All of my guides were outstanding in every way and I would be happy to welcome all of you into my home at any time.
