Travel from Tianjin to Historic Xi’an

The Terracotta Warriors and Horses of the First Emperor of Qin, also known as the Terracotta Warriors of Qin, are located in the Terracotta Warriors and Horses pit east of the Qin Mausoleum in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province. The terracotta warriors and horses, as a type of ancient tomb sculpture, is to promote human burial, slaves are owned by slave owners, after the death of the slave owners to be used as a Martyrs were buried with them, and so the terracotta warriors were made to look like chariots and horses and human soldiers to guard the tomb.

* Same Day Express Tour between Tianjin and Xi’an
 

If you take a 7 a.m. flight from Tianjin you will arrive in Xi’an at 9 a.m. You can tour the Terracotta Warriors in the afternoon and spend some relaxing time taking in Xi’an. The evening flight back will be around 10 p.m. to Tianjin. There is an option to take an overnight train from Xi’an to Tianjin and arrive in Xi’an the early next morning.

Day 1: Take a morning flight that lasts 2 hours at 9 a.m. to Xi’an. Today you will explore 

Xi’an at your convenience, where there are many magical spots to visit. Let us know if you would like your travels customized. 

Day 2: Half day tour in the morning to the famous Terracotta Warriors. After your visit take a bullet train or flight back to Tianjin.

Day 1: Take an afternoon flight of approximately two hours to Xi’an, or travel by high-speed train and arrive in about six hours. Spend the remaining afternoon resting or exploring before your overnight stay in Xi’an.

Day 2: Half day tour in the morni

What you should know
 

Every day, there are ten flights between Tianjin Binhai International Airport and Xi’an Xianyang International Airport from 7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Based on our experience, it usually takes at least 2 hours to get yourself disembarked although you arrive at Tianjin Xingang early in the morning around 6 a.m. We often book our guests for the 10 a.m. flight or after to make sure you will make the flight, this is due to the slow disembarking process. From Tianjin Cruise Port to the Airport it will take more than an hour, it is 60 km away from the port. 6 bullet trains run between Tianjin and Xi’an. The travel time is about 6 to 6.5 hours.  
 

Via Beijing
 

If you are interested in giving Beijing a visit you could take a flight or train from Tianjin. The fast train takes 25 to 30 minutes to Beijing. From Beijing take a train or flight to tour Xi’an and return to Tianjin the next day. For your information there are 10 flights everyday between Tianjin and Xi’an.
